How to Avoid Procrastination - 8 Tips

It's easy to procrastinate - and avoid doing something that you really don't want to get done.

But when you're attending an online college, you simply can't procrastinate too long.  Assignments are due every week and you don't have time to "put it off."

So here are 8 tips to help you avoid procrastinating . . .

  • Make a list of all the things you need to get done.
  • Commit yourself to completing a task once it's started
  • Reward yourself after finishing each task
  • Break up large tasks into small manageable tasks
  • Set a time line on when you'll accomplish each task
  • Take breaks between tasks so you don't wear yourself out
  • Work on an easy task after you complete a hard one
  • Work on tasks with a study group (if possible)

These 8 strategies will help you stay more productive - and will help you avoid procrastination.
